Freya z Romanova chovu
Freya was born in the Czech Republic, June 10, 2018, and came to the USA with 3 siblings. Her mother, Barbara z Angeliky, is a Czech Champion of Beauty, and her father, Varus vom Schaumburger Wald, comes from an old and well respected kennel north of Hanover Germany.
Freya is a beautiful example of what a female Small Munsterlander should be. She is strong boned without being heavy, has the classic female head, a sweet and cooperative personality, exceptional prey drive and tracking skills, and the ability to be part of the family and settle down in the house.
Freya is a dream dog for me. At every test or venue I have taken her to, I get complements on her athletic abilities, her smooth running style and her happy personality. She has completed her JGV German testing and NAVHDA testing up through Utility. The NAVHDA judge who trained her for her Utility test was especially impressed with her tracking abilities on the water for the duck search. There are not many Small Munsterlander females who have passed their Utility test, much less on the first try, and I think it is a testament to Freya's strong natural instincts and trainability. Her OFA hips are also Excellent and she has Excellent/Good conformation for body structure/coat. She has a smooth shiny coat with moderate feathering on her rear legs and tail.
