Lovec and Freya

This exceptional pairing between Brush Dale's Cheap Shot and Freya z Romanova chovu is expected to produce puppies with an even temperament, and a great balance of cooperation and independent drive. Both the Dam and Sire have passed the NAVHDA Utility test, both have OFA Excellent hips, and both are hunted on wild birds throughout the Midwest. They each live in the house with their respective families and the puppies are raised in the home, not out in a kennel.

Right on schedule, Freya delivered her beautiful puppies on May 3rd. She and her 4 females and 2 males are doing well. Freya is a very attentive mom, nursing, cleaning, and snuggling them.

One week in and all the puppies have doubled their weight. A few had rear dew claws which were removed at the vet. I do not remove front dew claws but the rear ones stick out almost like a thumb and are a snag hazard.
